Jordan Stubbs brings over a decade of experience in foreign exchange, specialising in cross-border payments and currency risk management for high-value clients. His career began at Cambridge Mercantile, followed by boutique firm Aston in Mayfair, where he advised private clients and fast-growing businesses.
He later joined American Express, playing a key role in growing its London FX division and supporting UHNWIs, family offices, and global corporates for over half a decade.
Jordan is recognised for his relationship-led approach, deep knowledge of hedging strategies, and commitment to delivering service typically reserved for private banking.
His Scottish heritage rooted in the MacNeil clan of the Isle of Barra, shapes his values and love of the outdoors, often found in Loch Lomond enjoying rugby, shooting, and open water swimming.
Jordan leads Barrington’s front office, bringing together institutional experience and boutique values to redefine what clients can expect from a modern FX partner.
He focuses on building relationships and guiding clients through acquisitions, ensuring a highly personal, tailored service.
James Gregory

James brings a wealth of experience from the world of foreign exchange, having worked as a FX dealer at a leading firm in London. His time in the City sharpened both his market expertise and his unwavering commitment to client service.
With a strong belief in building lasting relationships, James prides himself on delivering a personal, tailored approach to his portfolio of clients. He combines technical insight with a deep understanding of his clients’ commercial objectives, ensuring each transaction is executed with precision and perfect timing.
Now based in the Cotswolds, James has cultivated a strong network throughout the region and remains passionate about supporting the international ambitions of local businesses and individuals alike.
Beyond his professional pursuits, James is deeply embedded in the polo community. As a member of Cirencester Park Polo Club, he has competed across the UK. James’s competitive spirit and dedication to excellence remain unwavering—qualities that mirror his approach to client service.
James oversees Barrington’s trading operations and currency strategies, managing day-to-day execution and market positioning. His expertise lies in structuring efficient, secure solutions that protect and enhance client transactions.

Lara’s involvement provides clients with a trusted perspective when navigating the complexities of the international dressage world.
A British Grand Prix rider, Lara has represented her country as reserve for multiple Championships, including the Rio 2016 Olympics, and has achieved international success with several top-level horses. After more than a decade with the Bechtolsheimer family, she joined Van Olst Horses in the Netherlands in 2024, further strengthening her position within Europe’s elite dressage circuit. Respected for her skill, discretion, and professional integrity, Lara brings invaluable insight and experience to every engagement.
